The Cubie 120 is reduced to the essentials - but every tube bend is thoroughly thought through. The 6061 aluminium chassis is very light and perfectly tailored to children's smaller frames. Low standover allows lots of freedom of movement and safety during their first attempts at riding. The frame - including the seat tube - is finished with smooth edges and corners in order to minimise the risk of getting snagged on something. We've included two seatposts, so the learner bike can 'grow' with your child until it's time to move on to a CUBE bike with pedals.

Less is more - anyone with kids knows how exciting and scary early attempts at riding can be, and how tricky it is to avoid being distracted. Braking? Experience shows that kids this young don't have the finger strength and coordination required to brake safely - the good ol' foot brake is a better solution at this age. A special handlebar setup - with integrated steering angle limiter - helps prevent accidents caused by trying to steer too enthusiastically. The 12 inch pnuematic tyres provide comfort, roll well and allow for fun while learning to balance. Parents are also well catered for, with a carrying handle integrated into the seat for easy transport when the child's adventurous spirit has waned…
